            Abstract :
The performance of several multiuser detection schemes in a synchronous direct sequence code division multiple access environment (on the AWGN channel) is analysed on the basis of computer simulations. The simulated system is characterized by the cross-correlation matrix of the users spreading codes, which assumes neglectable or no intersymbol interference. Several types of cross-correlation matrices are scrutinized to see how sensitive the detection schemes are with respect to the spreading codes used
