Abstract :
In this paper, we review recent experimental evidence for deterministic partial discharge behaviour, with its systematic change with tree fractal dimension and reproducibility under identical experimental conditions. This has led us to propose a different approach for the analysis of the partial discharge data and the identification of deterministic chaotic activity
