Abstract :
A triple-band T-shape microstrip patch antenna element is presented. It is developed to be used in multi-standard mobile communication systems, (PCS-USA, UMTS and Bluetooth). The proposed element is designed and analyzed using the method of moment (MoM) technique with the aid of the zeland-ie3d electromagnetic simulator. Good return-loss and radiation pattern results that ensure stable operation within the triple frequency bands of interest are obtained.
