  • Abstract
Despite a rapid growth in sensor technology, sensors are often not deployed in hazardous environments due to the risk to human operators or the expense of an automated robotic solution. This paper proposes a simple, inexpensive, versatile and highly configurable system of sensor deployment, significantly increasing the scope of sensor applications. Special consideration is given to providing the user with a system that is easy to control and presenting the sensor information in an intuitive and clear manner.
