Abstract :
A box-type horn array antenna is investigated - a 3 × 3 array was simulated, and a linear 3 E-plane coupled horns array was simulated and measured. An upper pyramidal surface was added to the array in order to increases the gain and to strengthen the construction. It is shown that the gains of the proposed antennas are 11 dB and 5 dB higher than that of conventional horns having the same sizes, respectively.
