  • Abstract
With a rapid development of Internet, E-Learning is becoming a new learning mode. E-Learning is not limited by time and space. It also has a large number of learning resources. There are also many disadvantages of E-Learning, such as lack of help from teachers, low quality of learning resources and so on. This paper proposes a Learning Navigation Path Algorithm (LNPA) based on knowledge map. LNPA provides learners a proper navigation path to master a knowledge unit they want to learn (Target Knowledge Unit). The essence of LNPA is ranking. It is divided into two steps: first, it selects the knowledge units which are necessary for learners to master the Target Knowledge Unit; then, it ranks these knowledge units to a sequential order which is a learning navigation path. A Secondary Sort Strategy (SSS) is used to rank these knowledge units. Experiment chooses a knowledge map to test the effect of LNPA. Result shows that the learning navigation path, which shows a better performance, has a more definite target than the traditional learning path. Compared to other navigation methods, this paper ensures learners can learn a Target Knowledge Unit with high efficiency.
