Abstract :
This paper investigates the effects of quantization on a family of complex valued spreading sequences which employs a non-discrete phase alphabet. With infinite phase precision, sets from this family may be chosen from a wide range of cross-correlation and auto-correlation values. This paper shows that even with coarse quantization, the sequence family demonstrates the desirable characteristics found in the continuous phase family
