  • Abstract
    In this paper, a LE (logarithmic envelope) algorithm is proposed for estimating the maximum Doppler frequency of the channel. The algorithm is based on the LE autocorrelation of received pilot signals, which is strongly related with maximum Doppler frequency in a fading environment. The computer simulation is utilized to evaluate the proposed algorithm, and the results show that the proposed algorithm is very simple and achieves good performance over wide Doppler frequency range.
