Abstract :
In this paper, we introduce a novel multilayer artificial magnetic conductor providing a λ/60 unit cell periodicity while maintaining a 10% bandwidth. Full-wave simulations are mainly driven to give a proof of concept of this miniaturization method. Experimental validation of simple cases leads to a very good agreement with both numerical results and analytical method specifically developed to model multilayer structures.
