Abstract
An input and output ripple free Step-down converter is proposed in this paper. The two phase interleaved converter has only one inductor with four coupled windings, which decreases both the input and output ripple dramatically. Based on the analyses, the coupled inductor can also improve the transient response performance, and reduce the size and weight of the converter. Detailed analyses and simulations are performed. Experimental results are also presented for validation.
