Abstract :
This paper reports a method to focus sound in liquid to a desired point using a PDMS-based varifocal acoustic mirror. We used PDMS-air boundary as a sound reflector to concentrate sound. By adjusting the curvature radius of the acoustic mirror, we could change the position where sound was concentrated. We confirmed that our method was able to improve the output of the acoustic sensor for different sound source positions.
