Abstract
Aiming at the incomplete use of sensor information and complicated solving procedure in traditional combination attitude determination method for the spin-stabilized satellite, a new approach based on the blind signal separation algorithm was proposed. By analyzing the traditional attitude determination method and utilizing the attitude characteristics of the geosynchronous spin-stabilized satellite, not only was the present approach demonstrated to be feasible, but also the inherent fuzziness of the original algorithm was eliminated. At last some telemetry data from FENGYUN satellite were used to testify the algorithm, and the result showed the effectiveness of our approach on depressing system error and noise with high precise of attitude determination. In addition, this method was proved to be robust because of its capability of information fusion and correction, therefore the risk reduction of attitude determination with fault sensor data was realized.
