Abstract :
As a new electric power demand side management (DSM) technology, cool storage system has got more and more support from relevant government authorities because of its advantage of peak power shifting capabilities. It has great advantage in areas such as big commercial shopping centers and high office buildings. The concrete DSM Practice of Cool Storage Projects by Hebei Provincial municipal authorities is introduced in this article. Based on the practice experience got from the past years, some suggestions are put forward, which will help the policy makers and the owners to further improve their practice on this technology.
