Abstract :
A dual output dc-dc converter with shared ZCS lagging leg is presented in this paper. In this proposed converter, the two outputs are formed by their independent leading legs and the common lagging leg. Each output is regulated by the phase shift between their leading legs and the shared lagging leg. The leading legs work in zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) mode, and the ZVS condition is easy to satisfy; the shared lagging leg works in ZCS mode, and the ZCS condition is independent of the loads. Therefore the proposed topology is high switching frequency, high efficiency, simply structure and easy to control. The operational principle of the proposed converter is analyzed, and the new features are discussed. A prototype with 200 V input, 24 V/5 A and 15 V/15 A outputs is build to verify the analysis.
