Abstract :
The paper summarized recent developments at MDA Space Missions in the area of Ku- and Ka-band complex feed chain design. A multi-frequency Ku-band feed featuring two triplexers as well as a high-power Ku-band feed chain with third-order PIM requirements have been described. Most recent designs for Ka-band feeds for MBA applications have also been presented. A combined Tracking and Comms compact feed design and a novel design methodology of such feeds have been presented.
