Abstract :
This paper focus on design issues of direct-sequence spread-spectrum networks. The tradeoffs between available bandwidth, necessary data rate, processing gain and the number of selective addressable information channels is investigated. The tradeoffs for synchronous and asynchronous code division multiple access are shown for bandwidth or power limited channels in additive white Gaussian noise. Some remarks are prepared for blind and assumption driven computer searches to find application specific sequences
