Abstract
In this paper, a soft-switching interleaved circuit applied in three-level inverters is proposed. An interleaved three-level inverter is realized by employing two interleaved power switches in parallel at the most upper and the lowest location in traditional three-level inverters. By further inserting a small current-limiting inductor in each interleaved switch branch, each interleaved power switch can realized zero-current switching on and a reduced reverse recovery current of the freewheeling diode. The Each operation stage and the soft-switching theory are elaborated. A 2 kVA experimental prototype is produced and the test waveforms verified the circuit available.
