  • Abstract
Further developments in hybrid reluctance motors are reported. Two experimental machines are fabricated and their performance compared. The new design is quite attractive as a 2-polar design to exploit the best features of axially laminated and flux-guided designs. The optimal design details and inductances of the experimental machines are also given
