Abstract :
In this paper, a new EMT method based on HB for a nonlinear system is proposed. The EMT method has been restricted to linear analysis; however nonlinear circuit analysis is possible by the EMT-HB method. To reveal nonlinear characteristics by the HB in the EMT, the updated voltage results of the HB are applied to the EMT as sources. And the voltage results of the EMT are used for computing linear and nonlinear current in the HB. As the purpose of this paper is concerned, we focused on a proposal and verification of a new methodology for nonlinear circuit systems. In the future, an improved method will be studied to analyze more complex nonlinear systems in view of field coupling phenomenon.
