Abstract :
Modeling unknown circuit breakers in state estimation by adding their power flows to the state vector leads to estimated values which do not necessarily reflect feasible statuses. In this paper, this problem is overcome by adding two equality constraints so that the state estimator can only converge to either of the two mutually exclusive statuses
