Abstract :
This paper develops an approach for modelling thermal generator input-output characteristics with valve-point loading based on artificial neural networks (ANN). To achieve high accuracy in modelling, three methods far enhancing the input features are proposed. The performance of the ANN approach and methods of enhancement are illustrated through an application example
