  • Abstract
For the first time, a photorefractive crystal, acting as a self-adapted spectral filter, has been inserted in laser resonators. A spectacular spectral narrowing has been observed in pulsed Ti:sapphire and CW diode pumped Nd:YVO/sub 4/ lasers.
