Abstract :
This paper presents fast and robust equalization techniques to improve ATSC DTV reception for portable, pedestrian, and mobile receivers. There are many strong and dynamic echoes affecting portable, pedestrian, and mobile reception. Fast equalization techniques using Kalman algorithms are proposed and investigated for the purpose of overcoming strong and dynamic echoes.
