Abstract

As the network scale expands and the service provided by network becomes more complex, the services, network architectures and traffic pattern will dramatically differ from the current networks. In this paper, we firstly present the requirement of network management on the next generation network environment, and suggest a NETCONF-based application, and it also discusses the technologies and transport protocols of this application. Based on this discussion, it shows the comparison among different ways and gives an integrated network management system model based on SOAP. In the end, a prototype that is designed and implemented by above technologies and methods is introduced.
