Abstract :
Batch processing is an efficient way for carrying out pre-defined computations on data. However, when restoring processing a task of large amount of data from unexpected interruption, the processing cannot go on running from where it was stopped. Instead, the task has to start all over again. This paper introduce the transaction mechanism from data base system to the batch processing model of file set, we consider the processing of a single file as a transaction, which enables the expanded model to restore processing an interrupted mission from where it was stopped.
