Abstract :
In the paper, 173 university students were validly investigated by the questionnaire of learning motivation for university students. Firstly, through statistic analysis, we found that theuniversity students´ learning motivation from strong to weak is in turn: result goal, repayment, seeking knowledge, employment and life, social dedication, passive avoidance. Then, though difference analysis, it was found that: (1) The motivation of result goal was significantly different in the aspair of sex and whether to be the only child. (2) The repayment motivation was significantly different in the aspair of whether to be the only child. (3) The seeking knowledge motivation had significant difference in the different family status. (4) The motivation of passive avoidance is significantly different in the aspair of sex, specialty and grade. Finally, the paper put forward some promoting measures in teaching method, the teaching management mode and other aspects.
