Abstract :
This paper presents the development of Virtual Tembaga Ordering System (VTOS) that focused on interactivity in 3D product using Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML). VTOS was developed using PHP language with the integration of VRML capabilities in order to adapt real shopping experience for users while examining the product before purchase. Users/customers have the chance to view the 3D object from any specific angles and they can also rotate the 3D object and it can encourage users´ shopping experience when viewing the 3D object. VRML allows creating “virtual worlds” that are networked via the Internet and provides interactivity for the user. The development of VTOS showed that it is possible to have a Virtual Heritage shop that provide full control for the user while navigating the virtual product. This can give a new perspective for the user while do online shopping.
