Abstract :
Sensor networks are the network of tiny sensors. Due to limited capability of sensor node like limited sensing, communication and processing, large number of sensors are deployed in small sensing field. To enhance the life time of such type of sensor networks we require an energy efficient routing protocol. In this paper we propose Density Control Energy Balanced Clustering (DCEBC) algorithm, which is best for densely deployed sensor networks. In DCEBC algorithm cluster heads is elected by a probability based on a threshold and current energy level. Further we also deduce redundant node, such type of nodes can be used when other neighbour node exhausted. Finally the simulation result shows that DCEBC achieves longer lifetime and optimum stability period.
