Abstract
The processes of simulation of semiconductor injection lasers by using principles of object-oriented programming (OOP) are considered. The opportunity to account for all the spectrum of existing injection lasers is shown to depend on laser design and laser spectral characteristics. In this work, the hierarchy of classes of semiconductor injection lasers with use of the basic principles OOP such, as inheritance, encapsulation and polymorphism is constructed.
