Abstract :
A new three-phase ac-dc single-stage PWM full-bridge converter is proposed in the paper. The converter can simultaneously perform input power factor correction and isolated dc-dc conversion, operate using standard phase-shift PWM control, and is simple and low cost. In the paper, the operation of the new converter is explained and analyzed, its design is discussed, and experimental results that confirm its feasibility are presented.
