Abstract :
A novel dual band pan slot antenna is designed on Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) Substrate, which shows the high gain and excellent radiation characteristics. Some of the properties of LCP such as vertical integration capability, near-hermetic nature and good electrical and mechanical properties make this substrate material for design of low cost and flexible smart antennas. The antenna occupies an area of 39.7mm × 32.5mm × 4mm. The simulated results have given a gain of 8.13 dB and antenna resonate at two different frequencies 3.8 and 5.2 GHz which can be used in WLAN applications.
