Abstract
In this paper path conditions are taken into account to achieve required QoS parameter of an application in Wireless Multimedia Sensor Networks (WMSN). The proposed a path constraint adaptive Multipath routing protocol minimizes loss rate, energy consumption and delay. A cluster based architecture is adopted where inter cluster routing is performed based on a weighted cost function which considers the parameters such as loss rate, residual energy and delay. In order to save energy, nodes which don´t take part in routing are put to sleep mode. The simulation results prove that the proposed protocol is efficient in terms of energy efficiency, delay and packet delivery ratio when compared to the QoS aware routing (QAR) from the literature.
