Abstract :
When backscattering is used for analysis the state of the surface becomes important. Unfortunately, the monitoring of the wire surface in an optical range during is manufacturing is practically impossible. Therefore investigation of the scattering diagram. was done experimentally to define the scale of distortions and to find the possibility of using back scattering for main types of sensors. In our experimental setup we used a continuous Nd:YAG laser and strong bounding beam with diaphragms at the output to create the quasi-uniform intensity distribution.
