Abstract :
We experimentally compare 100 Gb/s PDM-QPSK in single-carrier and dual-carrier configuration over 800 km of NZ-DSF fibre. Using 40 Gb/s P-DPSK and 10 Gb/s OOK neighbours the lower tolerance to nonlinear effects of the dual-carrier solution is demonstrated.
