Abstract :
The performance of production lines in the offshore platform pipe-making workshop is to prefabricate different steel structure pipes, such as inclined bracings, conductors, steel piles, casing pipes, columns of gantry crane and support tubes. The integrated process of making pipes, which includes marking & cutting, pre-treatment, pipe rolling, longitudinal seam, girth welding, lapping extension and so on, can be involved in this pipe-making workshop. In this paper, the optimal production lines of pipe-making workshop, based on the request of function and productivity, are designed in detail. The optimal design scheme can not only to enhance the production efficiency and welding quality of making pipes, but also provide guarantee for the construction of jacket and deck module.
