Among key requirements to a modern engineer extremely professional competence, mastering of modern methods of research and development for the innovative product creation, observation of professional claims and guidelines, social responsibility and also a set of communicative competences and personal qualities for work in a team can be named. These elements are closely related with the concept of a professional image of an engineer.
