Abstract :
Two-dimensional computer modeling of waveguiding in 2D electromagnetic (photonic) crystals is carried out using the 2D finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method (leapfrog technique) with second order Mur´s absorbing boundary conditions. The Maxwell equations in electromagnetic (photonic) crystals are derived. The results of computer modeling are presented
