Abstract
This paper presents a new topology of soft-switching two-switch forward converter associated with a quadratic boost converter, providing large voltage step-up (from 12 Vdc to 80 Vdc). The combination of the stages results in a switched-mode power supply (SMPS), whose output voltages are +200 Vdc and -200 Vdc. The operation of both converters is analyzed, as some results concerning the proposed SMPS are presented.
