Abstract :
Piezoelectric transformers (PTs) have been seen as an attractive solution to reduce size and weight in AC-DC converters. This paper presents a PT AC-DC converter scheme that can operate over a worldwide range of input voltage by series and parallel PT connection with simple control scheme. With the analysis and experiment, it is verified that the scheme is available.
