Abstract :
Contemporary innovational development in science and technology makes life-long learning of engineers extremely necessary, as it is the only way to stay competitive on the labor market and match professional requirements. It is evident that adult education has peculiar features and demand individual approach. The core problem of adult education is personal barriers and frequent lack of internal learning motivation. The research is devoted to psychological mechanisms of adult learning motivation and ways to develop strive for education and self-education as a stable trait of personality.
