Abstract :
Feasibility toward tera-sample/s all-optical ADC using NOLM and its promising applications such as front-end processor of EDC for above 100 Gbit/s optical transmission systems are discussed. Recent record-breaking experimental demonstrations of 5-bit ADC will be presented.
