Abstract :
Summary form only given. The present paper deals with the spectral density of the low frequency noise power in the poly(3,3´ phthalidilidene-4,.4´- biphenilylene) (PPB) polymr films. The frequency band of the noise under study was 0 - 2 kHz. The results obtained were analyzed using the Fourier transformation, the number of ordinates being 1024. The object of investigation (PPB polymer) in interesting primarily in the fact that under certain condition, its thin film can be converted to a highly conducting state without impurity doping. The experimental results processed according to the Qully Tukkki method indicated that S(f) is approximated by a power function, where the exponent (a) varies from 1.08 to 1.7 depending on the experiment condition. The system life time and number of fluctuators in the polymer sample were evaluated provided that a < 1. The channel model of the 1/f noise in the polymer film is discussed.
