  • Abstract
    In this work a new concept of the system entrepreneurial approach to the organization of maritime engineering education in the Russian Federation is offered. The basis of this approach is the maritime entrepreneurial universities in the regions of Russia having access to the Atlantic, Arctic and Pacific Oceans and on the southern coast of the country. The mission of the marine entrepreneurial universities is seen to provide marine economic activities and the fishing industry of the Russian Federation with new knowledge, staff and innovative entrepreneurial projects and to develop coastal areas of the country in the paradigm of the knowledge economy.
