Abstract :
For the railways electrified on a direct current, are offered new AC-DC converters with voltage 12–24kV in a contact network and new transformerless DC-DC converters with adjustable 0–3kV DC voltage for electric locomotives. For the railways electrified on an alternating current are offered new AC-DC converters of electric locomotives with the reduced number of thyristors.
