Abstract :
A micro air speedometer for micro air vehicles (MAVs) is presented. A MAV is an intelligent microsystem applying MEMS technologies. The micro air speedometer consists of a propeller driven encoder, an infrared LBD as light emission element, a phototriode as detector, and a SCM as signal processor. A speedometer demonstration system is also presented in this paper
