Abstract :
Brief analysis of the deep ocean research of a new hydrothermal field at 14°45´N on the Mid Atlantic ridge are presented. The first investigations of this new field were done with the “MIR-1” and “MIR-2” manned submersibles on 3000 m depth. During two dives of the “MIR”s geological structure of the field, as well as many species of the animals were observed. Geological and biological samples were lifted on board of R/V “Akademik Mstislav Keldysh” and analysed in the laboratories. The results of chemical analysis of the samples of sediments, rocks and water are considered in the article
