Abstract :
The use of inter-space and intra-space transformations are considered for improving the transient performance of the LMS processor and reducing the dimension of the weight vector, respectively. Within the context of sensor array processing, a subband LMS algorithm is described for inter-space processing and a cross-spectral subspace selection metric is presented for intraspace transformations. The transform operators may be combined with the generalized sidelobe canceller signal blocking matrix
