Abstract :
This paper proposes a procedure aimed to measure very close tones in a wide frequency band. In many cases some tone can be hidden because of the inter-tone interference. The procedure is able to detect possibly hidden tones and to measure these interfering spectral components. The procedure is implemented on a wide bandwith digital scope resulting in an instrument capable to measure all the spectral components of an unknown signal
