Abstract
Summary form only given. The conductivity vs temperature and pressure dependence of the organic conductor ET/sub 4/Hg/sub 3/I/sub 8/ has been investigated. It is shown that the title crystals have at least two phase transitions of the first order in dependence on the pressure and the conductivity measured up to 80 kbar at room temperature increases nonlinear about 20 times. Temperature dependences of these three new phases under pressure are studied. Besides this salt has the order phase transition at ambient pressure at T=265 K. The behavior of this transition in dependence on pressure is investigated. T-p phase diagram of this salt is discussed. Analisis of the possible changes of the structure connected with these phase transitions is proposed.
