Abstract :
The pros and cons of current workflow models are analyzed in this paper. Furthermore, a Knowledge-flow and workflow based extended time workflow-Net (KWXTWF-net) is proposed to achieve effective knowledge sharing in workflow processes. In the proposed approach, the correlative definitions and characteristics of KWXTWF-net are described, and the time workflow is transformed into KWXTWF-net using building rules. Comparative study shows that the proposed KWXTWF-net can greatly reduce the inadequacy of currently used workflow models, thus has advantages over other workflow models.
